Enel – OGC-5 to build $315m ash-and-slad system at Reftinskaya GRES

Russian – Italian JV Enel – OGC-5 intends to invest up to $315m building an ash-and-slad removal system at Reftinskaya GRES power station in Sverdlovsk region, news agency RIA Novosti reports.
The project is scheduled to be carried out in 2010 – 2012.
The ash-and-slad removal system project is currently undergoing the state expertise, the approval is reportedly expected in August – September 2010.
Enel OGC-5 shares are distributed between Italy’s Enel (55.86%), Russian property fund Rosimuschestvo (26.43%) and minority shareholders (17.79%), including EBRD (6.06%).
