Gazprom Neft named Hunin-6 coordinator

Gazprom Neft has become coordinator in the Hunin-6 oil field development project in Venezuela, the Russian company's press office reported. No further details have been disclosed, however.
As reported earlier, in April 2010, National Oil Consortium LLC and Venezuela's Petroleos de Venezuela SA registered a joint venture called PetroMiranda to develop the Hunin-6 block in the Orinoco oil belt, with the respective shareholdings of 40 and 60 percent. The National Oil Consortium comprises Lukoil, TNK-BP, Rosneft, Gazprom Neft and Surgutneftegas, with each holding 20 percent in the project.
