Euroset, MTS resume cooperation

Euroset, a Russian cellular retail chain, signed a dealership agreement with Mobile TeleSystems today. According to Euroset's press office, the retailer is set to restart selling MTS contracts and equipment and accepting payments from MTS subscribers starting August 1, 2010.
As reported earlier, a conflict between MTS and Euroset that broke out in April 2009 caused the parties to denunciate their dealership agreement. In late November 2009, they signed a settlement agreement whereby they offset their mutual obligations and Euroset was to pay out RUB 501m (approx. USD 16.44m) in equal monthly payments. Both sides now say they have no remaining unsettled disputes.
