Gazprom drafting in-house innovation program

Gazprom's board of directors has considered various approaches to drafting an innovative development program for the gas giant up until 2020. The monopoly's relevant departments have been tasked with drawing up the program and submitting the draft to the board of directors in 2011.
As reported earlier, in January 2010, Russia's President Dmitry Medvedev issued orders to step up innovation efforts and boost the technological level for partially state-owned companies. With that in mind, Gazprom is preparing a long-term planning program, which will involve a list of technical, economic, financial and organizational measures to arm Gazprom with cutting edge equipment and technology. The program will cover the full innovation cycle - from developing a technical solution to implementing it.
