Rusnano to help supply innovative construction materials

The Russian Housing Development Foundation and the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies (Rusnano) have signed an agreement on cooperation, the joint press release states. The document is aimed at expanding the use of innovative materials in the construction sphere, including those created with the use of nanotechnologies. According to the press release, this will allow for the objects constructed on the foundation's land plots to comply with international 'green' standards such as LEED and BREEAM.
According to the agreement, Rusnano will provide the foundation with access to information in the sphere of innovative construction nano-materials and assist in the organization of product supplies from project companies. Furthermore, the corporation and the foundation are also poised to develop a long-term forecast for the use of promising materials in construction.
