26.01.2012
Sberbank expects deposits to grow 20% in 2012, Dmitry Oguryayev, director of the bank's deposit and investment product department, said at a news conference today.
The bank reversed the trend towards a decline in its share of deposits, he said. The share has risen to 46.6% at present from 43.6% in November 2011 to which it dropped from 47.9% in January 2011. The bank's share of deposits is likely to remain intact for the next six months, Oguryayev added.
Sberbank plans to focus on private wealth management and boost its share of large deposits by 5% from the current 33%, Oguryayev also said.
